For seven years, they came in many shapes and scattered to every corner of the continent (Daniapri  ). The eighth year she was barren. In the ninth year,  the boughs were full and they hung nearly to the ground. It was the year of the Lorvin.   They didn’t begin to create until after the ground split and they drifted away from Muji. 16 islands surround the island that Muji sits on. At first they created to return to Muji, whom they could always see, but never reach. But their Hubris grew.  When they made it back to Muji, they discovered some of them had never left. Having no need to create, they never advanced past what they had been. They are called the eternal children. Most were wiped out when the Lorvin came back to Muji.  The Lorvin pushed science further and further, until they were experimenting on themselves. One group ended up with wings (Hamjsan) . They now live in Muji and only come to the islands when they deliver a Niam.  They lived like this for a thousand years before they noticed a decline in their fertility and they dabbled with their DNA again. This caste became The Ahkrain (self replicating). They keep to themselves.  In a hundred years the problem had only grown and they couldn’t reverse what they’d done. They experimented one last time and created the Kra’ll.  The Kra’ll surprised them with their violence and their unwillingness to do science. The Hamuji marooned them on A new planet after they nearly destroyed one of the islands. After that mishap, the Niam passed a law against altering their DNA. The only species they can legally couple with is humans, and then only artificially.   The military was born in the need to hold off the Kra'll, who though primitive, have numbers and the memory of the ships.
